GROUP BIKE RIDE + SOCIAL SAUNA ADVENTURE

Session description

We're super excited to offer our first-ever group ride + social sauna adventure! The route for this ride will be just shy of 25 miles, with 1,400 ft of total elevation gain, all paved. I would call this a medium-difficulty ride -- probably not suitable for beginners but also don't be too intimidated by the distance or elevation. We will have breaks (a store stop and park lunch break about 9 miles in & another park/bathroom break at mile 15), the elevation is broken up and spread out over multiple climbs, and the pace will be very approachable, around 10mph. And last but not least, we'll reward our effort with the best recovery out there! Itinerary: 9:00am - Optional meet-up at Secret Sauna / MuddWorks Cafe for breakfast/coffee 9:45am - Group up, get bikes ready to go 10:00am - WE RIDE! 2:00pm(ish) - Meet back at Secret Sauna for an extra long social sauna session 4:30pm - Even the best adventures must end :) What to bring: - Your bike - Minimum 1 liter of water (we'll have opportunities to refill) - A fannypack / bike pack / basket / something for carrying snacks - Helmet (safety first, protect your noggin!) - A bag with your sauna gear (bathing suit, slides or sandals, two towels, optional robe or coverup) --> We will leave our sauna gear at Secret Sauna, you don't need to carry it with you on your bike. Consider bringing a robe or coverup to be comfortable hanging outside the sauna since it'll be an extra long session and we may have a larger group than can fit in the sauna all at one time. --> If you're an experienced cyclist and would feel comfortable corking at a few intersections, that would be greatly appreciated!
